For over five years, Mark Pitta and 142 Throckmorton have brought laughter to Mill Valley through their successful Tuesday night comedy show, Mark Pitta& Friends. Now 142 proudly announces the release of the first Mark Pitta & Friends: The Best of Tuesday Night Comedy CD, edited and compiled by Mark Pitta.

This new double disc CD contains 18 live tracks from the Tuesday shows including acclaimed comedians Richard Lewis, Dana Carvey, Mort Sahl, KevinPollak, Larry Miller, Bobcat Goldthwait, and more.

All proceeds from the CDs go to benefit 142 Throckmorton Theatre, a nonprofit performing arts theatre dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality live performing arts and educational programming. From international superstars to aspiring local talent, the 142 offers a diverse array of music, dance, comedy, film, lectures, drama and more.

Our popular youth division,Marin Youth Performers, stages large-scale musical theatre productions and provides professional quality music and theatre arts instruction and camps for young people throughout the Bay Area. The 142 is proud to offer affordable ticket pricing, discounts for teachers and seniors, and a liberal scholarship policy for its youth division so that no young person is denied admission due to inability to pay.
